• Discovery call

A free conversation about one case, one question, or one thing that has been stuck for months. It establishes whether I am the right person to help.

    Who it is for
    Anyone considering working together
    Format
Video call, Google Meet or Zoom
    Duration
    20 minutes
    • One case or question discussed in real depth
    • An honest answer about whether I can help
    • A recommendation, even if that recommendation is someone else

If what you need is a full diagnostic evaluation, direct therapy, or anything else outside my scope of practice, I will make the right referral.

  • 1:1 consultation

Ongoing case consultation for a clinician, educator or parent working through complex communication and behavior questions. You bring the real caseload; I work through it with you.

$150 USD / hourReduced international rates available — see the note below.
    Who it is for
    SLPs, BCBAs, educators, and parents
    Format
Video call, Google Meet or Zoom
    Duration
    60 minutes
    • Case review with written notes you can put straight into a plan
    • Programming decisions worked through, not just recommended
    • Weekly, every two weeks or monthly — you set the rhythm
    • Follow-up by email between sessions

Most people arrive with one of four things: a limited vocal learner who has plateaued, an AAC system that is being abandoned, a behavior plan that is fighting the communication plan, or a team that cannot agree.

Sessions are working sessions. I review your data, your video and your draft goals, and each session ends with a decision rather than a list of things to consider.

    On international rates

I consult with families and clinicians across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. A rate that is reasonable in New York is not reasonable everywhere, and I would rather adjust the rate than lose the conversation. Ask.

  • Group & team consultation

One session, one team — the speech-language pathologist, the behavior analyst and the classroom staff in the same room, working on the same child, reaching the same plan.

    60–90 minutes
    • Whole-team case consultation
    • Written integrated recommendations after the session
    • Follow-up review session available
    • Delivered in English, Cantonese or Mandarin

Group consultation puts the disagreement on the table where it can be resolved, and produces one plan everybody in the room has actually agreed to.

  • The Bridge to Better Outcomes™ Collective

A live group for BCBAs and SLPs who want to stop working around each other. Structured sessions on the collaboration problems both professions run into, with people from the other discipline in the room.

    Who it is for
BCBAs and SLPs working with the same children
    Format
    Live online cohort
    Duration
Runs in cohorts — dates announced by email
    • Live sessions with both disciplines present
    • A shared vocabulary for the conversations that usually go badly
    • Case material brought by participants
    • Practical tools for writing one plan instead of two

Reading about collaboration does not produce collaboration. Having the argument, safely, with a real colleague from the other discipline, does.

Cohort dates are announced to the mailing list first.
