Bridge our expertise. Amplify your impact.

Speech and behavior are not competing frameworks. They are complementary sciences — and neurodivergent children get better outcomes when the two teams stop working in parallel and start writing one plan.

The daily standoff

You have almost certainly had one of these arguments

Every one of these tensions is real, and every one of them dissolves once both disciplines are looking at the same data. This is the work.

  • AAC autonomySystematic prompt fading

The SLP wants the child to have unrestricted access to their voice. The BCBA wants a fading schedule that produces independence. Both are right.

  • Instructional complianceSelf-regulation

A child who cannot follow a direction may be dysregulated rather than non-compliant. The distinction changes the entire intervention.

  • StructureSelf-advocacy

Predictability supports learning. It can also teach a child that their objection carries no weight. The plan has to hold both.

  • FormFunction

Motivation to communicate comes before the complexity of what is communicated. Getting the sequence right changes everything. Build the want, then the how.

How the work runs

You do not have to choose between Speech or ABA

You do not have to stay stuck in professional silos. And you do not have to navigate complex cases alone.

  1. Assess with a dual lens

I evaluate communication and behavior together because they go hand-in-hand, so nothing is missed.

  2. Build an integrated plan

Goals and strategies are designed using both speech-language and behavioral frameworks.

  3. Implement, coach and refine

Through coaching support, I ensure strategies are applied confidently for lasting impact.

Who I work with

Four people at the same table

  • Parents & families

You are being handed two sets of advice that do not agree, and you are the one who has to reconcile them at bedtime. I translate between the disciplines so you can advocate with confidence.

  • Speech-language pathologists

Behavior is not an obstacle to your session — it is data about your session. Bring the caseload you find hardest: limited vocal learners, AAC abandonment, motor speech that will not generalize.

  • BCBAs & behavior analysts

Verbal behavior is a starting point, not the whole of language. Advanced language programming, AAC selection, and knowing when a speech-sound problem is not a compliance problem.

  • Educators & administrators

Professional development and classroom models that actually get used, drawn from seven years coaching in the largest public school district in the country.
